Reasons why glass production enterprises choose high temperature and excessive fire in the construction of new kilns.

In China, the service life of glass melting furnaces has also been significantly improved in recent years, from the previous 3-4 years to 6-8 years. At present, the planned kiln life of newly designed glass production lines in China is more than ten years, which is inseparable from the improvement of refractory quality, the improvement of furnace structure and masonry quality and the reasonable operation and use, and we can't ignore the high-quality preheating work of baking kiln. In the development process of domestic glass kiln design service industry, there are many cases of kiln accidents or even early water release due to unreasonable baking, which have attracted great attention of technicians and senior managers of glass production enterprises. However, due to various reasons, domestic glass production enterprises rarely choose high temperature and excessive fire in the construction of new kilns or cold-repaired kilns, and there are only two reasons:


First, for the sake of short-term economic interests. Compared with the traditional fire at 850℃, the high-temperature fire requires higher energy consumption and longer heating time. For example, compared with the fire at 850℃, the fire at 1150℃ in a furnace with a melting capacity of 500t/d needs 80-100 tons more diesel oil, and the fire at 850℃ needs about 100-120 tons of heavy oil to heat up to 1150℃. Calculate the difference, 1150.


Second, it is hard to find a professional baking kiln team that can reach over 1100℃ in China. High temperature and excessive fire require not only superb professional technology, but also advanced and excellent equipment support. At present, there is still a certain gap between the equipment level of most domestic professional kiln enterprises and that of developed countries. First, the ability to raise and control the temperature is limited, and the ability of materials and equipment to resist high temperature is limited.


In recent years, domestic professional glass kiln construction companies have realized that high-temperature baking kiln is the general trend of the glass industry in the future, and strive to develop in this direction. Previously, based on the advantages of technology and talents accumulated for many years, our company invested heavily and jointly developed a new type of kiln baking equipment with international leading level with research and design units. The equipment is controlled by the industrial computer to start and stop the kiln fan, monitor the temperature of each measuring point and the expansion of the self-closed body in real time, and draw the temperature rise curve. Of particular note in the new equipment are 16 medium atomizing burners purchased. It adopts inner and outer jackets, unique swirl and tangent diversion technology, and uses medium atomization to ensure more complete combustion, no smoke, high oil utilization rate and good thermal efficiency at low temperature and low oil pressure. The new burner and the fan are connected by metal hoses, and the flame pipe in front of the burner is made of imported high-quality heat-resistant materials and welded by a special process, which can withstand the high temperature of 1200℃, thus ensuring the need of fire over 1100℃. The baking kiln equipment has a high degree of automation and strong temperature control ability, and can control the furnace from room temperature to above 1100℃ in a balanced and accurate way (the error between the actual temperature rise curve of the main control point and the planned curve is less than 3℃), which effectively avoids the phenomena of electric melting brick explosion and wall inclination caused by excessive temperature gradient during excessive fire, thus ensuring the scientific, safe, reasonable and reliable baking kiln work and prolonging the service life of the furnace. This equipment represents the highest level of baking kiln equipment in China at present.
